Sorting through leads is a tedious tasks most businesses have to face when scaling and dealing with a large influx of clients. In order to properly sort out the clients that want your service and those that are sitting on the fence, here's a simple automation skeleton you can follow within Make.com. 1. Trigger Using a module integration from Calendly or a CRM, use it as a means of running the whole workflow when a new lead comes in. 2. Filter The next module(s) will then consist of sending your new lead means of gauging their: - Company size - Budget range - Industry and more 3. Scoring System Within the filters as well, categorize the different leads using a weighted scoring system such as 1-5 or 1-10 to tag them as: - Hot leads: sent straight to your sales team - Warm leads: added to your nurture flow for conversion - Cold leads: moved to a more long-term workflow 4. Notifications After the leads have been properly tagged and moved to the proper workflows, they will then set off the proper notifications for each one. Hot leads led to an instant Slack message to the sales team and dealt with as quickly as possible. Warm leads were sent follow-up emails and other means of nurturing them to hot leads. Cold leads moved to storage for retargeting at a later date. For the results, sales teams will stop wasting too much time on bad leads and focus on getting them to be paying clients. This type of automation will also save busy businesses over 10+ hours simply by reducing the manual strain on systems related to client sorting.
