High pressure will settle in over the region resulting in mild and dry conditions this weekend.

Temperatures gradually climb to well-above seasonal normal by the middle of next week areawide.

Many neighborhoods next week will flirt with 70 along with nights around 50.

The long-range forecast, days 8 through 14, looks much warmer and drier than normal.

At this point, we're not expecting much of a pattern change anytime soon, so get outside and enjoy.
