Meet Some of Our Partners

Baltimore County Department of Aging (BCDA)

By partnering with the Department for Economic and Workforce Development, BCDA is taking Senior Planet classes on the road through its mobile career center.

“I love hearing the students talk about how much they’ve learned and the confidence they’ve gained at the end of the course.” -Meiosa Allender, Trainer

Cynthia Wilkerson

LBFE Boston is dedicated to relieving isolation and loneliness among older adults living in affordable housing. For them, “the materials are right on point for addressing tech equity for older adults.”

Jonael Ruiz

The Chicopee Council on Aging has been a licensee since 2023. It serves people from four towns in Western Massachusetts. “Everyone is excited about the energy that the Senior Planet curriculum has brought here.”

Tim Rogers

Pittsylvania County, with a population of around 61,000, is almost completely rural and is the largest county by land area in Virginia. One of the things Tim enjoys most about working with older adults is seeing their confidence rise.

Tina Barnett

“As LEARN’s tech education program manager using Senior Planet curriculum, I am deeply committed to bridging the digital divide for our older adults, ensuring they remain connected, empowered, and relevant in today’s digital age.”

Mike Prudhom

Before finding the licensing program, Mike created classes on his own, but with a small staff and growing community of older adults to serve, he lacked the time, resources, and capacity to design classes at scale.

Joan Denison

“Senior Planet has created an exceptional curriculum that makes technology accessible and useful for older adults. Seniors enjoy the social component of learning and feel empowered in their ability to learn new skills.”

Art and Norma Menard

Married for 48 years, Art and Norma Menard found Senior Planet during the pandemic. When they became co-directors of their local library in upstate New York, it took them all of ten seconds to say, “yes, we’ll do it.”

Partner Quotes

“We appreciate the flexibility we have as licensed partners. The Senior Planet curriculum library allows us to quickly add new lectures and workshops based on feedback from our community partners, such as senior centers and older adult living centers.

One of the best features of the licensing option though is that it allows us to create a multigenerational team by including older adult volunteers as teachers. Our inclusive and driven teaching team is the heart of our program, and is truly the reason so many participants refer their friends and family.”

Heather Hamilton, City of Tempe

“This curriculum caters to older adults with different technology skills across diverse socio-economic and racial backgrounds and helps them gain confidence as they explore the digital world.”
