Ai filter

Eould be great be able to filter and avoid ai generated content and make companies/people to disclose when uploading their music/other for production transparency. Considering the bad press you are getting in terms of artist support this would be a good, easy and supportive thing to do to support a bit further.

Some sort of icon that indicates that an artist is Ai would be great also. Similar to how stock photography sites differentiate.

given how aggressively spotify is pushing AI music to cut revenue from actual human artists, i find this extremely unlikely to happen

This is not the only comment on this. There are a lot of people really fed up with AI songs flooding their playlists!

We need an opt out button/filter!!!

This is an absolute no-brainer and I'm shocked AI music can be pushed by suggestions without anything to inform the user. One is art, the other one is recycled acoustical waste. Spotify should understand this more than other companies who have also invested more than they should have on AI.

Spotify is built on the premise that it facilitates discovering new music and artists. I feel like ai music disguised as actual music may make this premise fall apart completely. For now it is fairly easy to recognize ai music, once ai will be good enough to become hard to distinguish i will have to limit myself to songs i know. At that point i may as well just start managing my own library like i used to in the past.

Part of the bad press AI is getting is not just because it's a bad thing. It's because it's not reviled to us, right or wrong, It should be highlighted so we understand the source and we can decide. The publisher would be held responsible for the info.As are news providers with disclaimers and corrections. Also there should be a choice up front. A bot's unchallenged opinion is no better than Donald T's.

There are many reasons AI could be very beneficial. If it could be verified and trusted. Unlike a email spam advertisement

Spotify competitors (who's names I can't mention) have already started to crackdown on AI content. I downloaded a competitor's app this morning to try it out. Hopefully Spotify will catch on soon before everyone jumps ship.

After seeing my first AI recommended song in my Discover Weekly last week, I now have to vet every song every week to make sure any AI generated song/artist is removed from it before I can listen to it.

Not having a general AI filter just devalues Spotify for me and lots of people; Having to manually listen, then block songs and artists that are associated with genres and tags just is going to do irreparable damage in the long run to my and many people's algorithm.

Imagine how many people have to block AI artists and songs associated with Rock for example just cause they're bad, but then having the algorithm be impacted to think they don't like Rock while they love it.

Like explicit content filter in the profile/account settings, AI filter will be better.

Spotify really needs an AI-music filter. The platform is getting flooded with AI-generated tracks, and users should have the option to exclude them from playlists and recommendations. I’m not anti-tech — but AI-generated songs aren’t the same as human-created music, and we deserve transparency.
A simple toggle to filter out AI content would fix a lot of this.
