PWSC does not charge out-of-state tuition. All fees are approved by the University of Alaska Board of Regents. The college reserves the right to change tuition rates or fees at any time.

Fee Details:

*PWSC Consolidated Student Fee:

The consolidated student fee is assessed to support a variety of student services and activities. Funds are distributed as follows:

    • Student Activities: 9%
      Supports student clubs, campus events, and activities that enhance campus life.

    • Health & Fitness Center: 14%
      Helps maintain the Health & Fitness Center, giving students access to fitness facilities and wellness opportunities.

    • eLearning: 32%
      Funds online learning resources and support for distance education.

    • Technology: 32%
      Covers technology services, including classroom technology, computer labs, and IT infrastructure.

    • Mental Health Services: 13%
      Provides access to mental health resources and counseling support for students.

 

**UA Infrastructure Fee:

The UA Infrastructure Fee is $19 per credit and is assessed to all students at all University of Alaska campuses. This fee helps address capital investment for university facilities and infrastructure. At PWSC, the fee supports academic equipment and classroom technology, campus facility maintenance and improvements, university-wide technology systems and networks, and the modernization of physical and virtual learning environments. A portion of the revenue remains at PWSC, while another portion goes to the UA system to support shared university-wide infrastructure and network operations. On student bills, this fee will appear as the “PWSC Infrastructure Fee.”
