2 farmers killed in accident on Bareilly–Bisalpur road

Pilibhit: Two farmers were killed after their bike collided with an unidentified vehicle near Govalpatiputra village on Bareilly–Bisalpur road in Pilibhit district around 11 pm on Saturday. Police were alerted by commuters passing.Sewa Ram, 28, and Arvind Kumar, 32, were friends and were on their way to Bisalpur. Their families were unaware of their late-night travel. Doctors at Bisalpur community health centre declared both of them dead on arrival.SHO Sanjeev Shukla said, "Fresh wheel marks at the accident spot suggest that the unidentified vehicle may have been a pick-up mini truck."He added that CCTV footage from the route was being examined to identify the vehicle, and that a written complaint was awaited before an FIR could be lodged.
