Over 3,061 kg of seized narcotics, including poppy straw and marijuana, were destroyed in Seraikela-Kharsawan, Jharkhand, as part of a nationwide initiative by the Narcotics Control Bureau. The destruction occurred at a state-run facility, with opium being sent for processing into alkaloids. This drive, directed by the Union Home Minister, aims to establish drug disposal facilities in all districts.
