We’re proud to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) with technologies like HALO – a high-altitude, modified Gulfstream Aerospace G550 that serves as an airborne observatory to collect critical data during missile defense flight test events. HALO helps validate system performance and strengthen U.S. layered defense of the homeland and allied interests. The HALO platform has supported approximately 450 testing events since 1986, including major milestones such as Stellar Banshee, where U.S. Navy forces tracked and simulated engagement of a maneuvering hypersonic target, Operation Burnt Frost as a multi-agency mission to intercept an uncontrollable satellite, and the first successful ballistic missile intercept conducted from Guam – a historic event that reinforces our readiness to counter next-generation threats. These complex test events would not be possible without our team, who deliver comprehensive, full lifecycle support to help the MDA stay ahead of evolving challenges – every step of the way.
