Please join us in welcoming Sam Caldwell to the Sedaro team as Lead Software Engineer, Compiler! Sam brings a combination of deep programming language research, systems design expertise, and hands-on engineering experience across embedded systems, distributed runtimes, and large-scale concurrency. His PhD work focused on advancing the state of the art in actor-based concurrent languages, building compilers and verification tools, and teaching and mentoring the next generation of system engineers. In addition to his academic leadership, Sam brings industry experience delivering production-grade embedded software, designing developer tooling, and building robust testing and automation infrastructures. His ability to bridge rigorous research with practical engineering makes him uniquely positioned to strengthen Sedaro's technical foundation and advance the fidelity, performance, and reliability of our digital twin platform. We're thrilled to have Sam on board and can't wait to see all we accomplish together!

NEWS: Sedaro has been awarded a $20M IDIQ contract by the Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base. The contract supports the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Edwards and its mission partners across the United States Air Force and United States Space Force in the development of modern, scalable, and collaborative #simulation and #digitaltwin software. Under this contract, Sedaro will deliver cloud-native tools that integrate modeling & simulation, optimization, and automation to support the full lifecycle of new technologies, from concept through testing and deployment, within a unified digital ecosystem. “From joint integration to allied collaboration, agile engineering, and automation, the future of U.S. defense depends on our ability to virtually test, train, and iterate at scale.” said Robbie Robertson, CEO of Sedaro. “We’re proud to partner with AFRL and the broader DoW enterprise to unlock this future.” As global threats evolve, the U.S. defense industry must continue to adopt cutting-edge digital engineering practices to outpace adversaries.
