Google Search Console requires the DNS record of the domain but I couldn't find it in Vercel Dashboard. It isn't in the Domains tab of dashboard or domains section of my project settings. I used vercel dns ls command and it said no records were found. Can't I access the DNS because the domain is not mine?

In a way, yes, you cannot access or edit the DNS records because the domain is not yours. The platform is "lending" a specific subdomain for use.

If you'd like to edit the DNS to enable Google Search Console, you need to use a custom domain. That way you can have a domain that you fully control. If you use Vercel's Nameservers, you should be able to edit any DNS records directly in your dashboard.
