Quick Scroll Bar not working on podcasts

The quick scroll bar on the side does not seem to be working on podcasts, no matter how long the episode list is. I have tried updating and reinstalling but to no avail.

We've looked into this from our end and we can confirm that this feature isn't available for podcasts at the moment.

We always take new ideas and feedback into consideration to improve the app, so feel free to create an idea if this is something you'd like to see implemented.

Create an idea? It’s an iOS bug. You’re breaking an established user interface capability that’s expected to work and maddening your users. Just fix it. Create the “idea” yourself lol. This has been broken for a year.

Why hasn't this stupid bug not been fixed yet?  It's been a year and the quick scrollbar still doesn't work with podcast on IOS.

After at least two years this continues to be an issue in the iOS app.

This is not a new feature - it is a broken component of how iOS apps are supposed to work that does not function specifically on podcast pages within the Spotify app. It’s especially irritating in the fact that it used to work and was broken at some point, and apparently Spotify has no interest in fixing it.

Hi there, this problem happens to me too. Is there a fix? It is happening in 2025. I can use the quick scroll bar on playlists, even the longest playlists, but can not do so on any podcasts.

The scroll bar isn't available when viewing podcasts on the mobile app at the moment, but there's a live idea about it here, I'd recommend checking it out and showing your support.
