Last week’s AMEC Measurement Month webinar, hosted by P+ Measurement Services, brought forward a message our industry can no longer ignore: communication is only valuable when we can prove its outcomes. 📊 👉 The conversation underscored a simple truth: effective measurement begins at the planning stage, not the reporting stage. It’s not about how much activity we produce, but about the behaviours we shift, the perceptions we shape, and the value we create for the organisation. 🎙️ Thanks to the speakers who shaped this discussion: Iskren Lilov (Muck Rack / AMEC), Amber Daugherty, MCM (Big Valley Marketing), Chris Wangalwa, MPRSK (Africa Strategic Communication Hub (ASCH)), Adaoha Vivian (Ogonnaya) Njemanze (NOVVA Media & Communications), Adedoyin Jaiyesimi (The Comms Avenue), and David Akinfenwa (Selar). We’ve captured the key takeaways in this carousel. Swipe through for the insights 👇 AMEC Measurement and Evaluation #AMECMM #MeasurementMatters #PRMeasurement #CommsStrategy #MediaIntelligence

🌍 From handball courts to hidden corners of the world, Metodi Lesanski has always been on the move. 🤾♂️ Before joining Ruepoint, he played handball competitively until an early retirement led him to explore new paths to combine work and travel. 🧳 Now, as a Media Monitoring Analyst, he brings that same energy and drive to a fully remote role that fits his lifestyle perfectly. Metodi says he found the perfect balance: meaningful work, flexibility, and a team culture that backs him every step of the way. 🙌 What stands out to him most is the teamwork. No matter the obstacle, it’s the collaborative spirit that turns challenges into quick wins. This makes Ruepoint’s remote culture feel truly connected. 💡 One thing he’s learned along the way? Doing your job well is important, but getting to know the people you work with matters just as much. And with a diverse, curious, and international team, there’s always something new to learn. Metodi, thanks for bringing your energy and adaptability to the team. We’re lucky to have you with us on the journey. #RuepointFaces #MediaMonitoring #WorkLifeBalance #Teamwork

📏 As part of AMEC Measurement Month, global brands joined forces to explore one question: how is PR measurement evolving in the age of AI? In this webinar, Sarah Myles (McDonald's), Nicola Leske (DHL), Laju Obasaju, JD, MBA (Comcast), and Raina Lazarova (Muck Rack) unpacked findings from the 2025 State of PR Measurement report, revealing how AI, integration, and insight-driven measurement are redefining success in communications. Here are three takeaways that stood out: 1️⃣ Measurement is now non-negotiable: 81% of PR pros actively measure their work, and 82% say it’s important, yet many still face challenges linking outcomes to business impact. 2️⃣ AI is the next frontier: While only 28% of teams currently use AI tools for measurement, 93% expect AI to reshape their workflows within two years - from automating analysis to tracking brand visibility in AI-generated content. 3️⃣ Actionable insights > vanity metrics: Across industries, there’s a clear shift toward using data to learn, adapt, and demonstrate value in ways that resonate with leadership and clients alike. ▶️ Missed the live session? 👉 Watch the full webinar: https://lnkd.in/dhYKdQ55 AMEC Measurement and Evaluation #AMECMM #MeasurementMonth #PRMeasurement #MediaIntelligence #AIinComms

🌍 Communicators from 32 countries gathered in Mumbai this week to explore one big idea: how to lead with purpose and clarity in a world shaped by data, algorithms and constant change. 👉 Our Head of Marketing and Comms Iskren Lilov joined industry leaders for three days of global perspectives, open discussions, and exchange of insights at the ICCO Global Summit 2025. Here are four ideas that stood out 👇 🔹 The 5X Era – Jim O'Leary (Weber Shandwick) outlined five economies reshaping global communications: attention, stakeholder, creator, experience and intelligence (with the last expected to grow over 5 times in the coming years!). His call to action: communicators must adapt faster, balancing data and automation with creativity and judgment. 🔹 Reputation, Risk and Resilience – A session led by Rod Cartwright, featuring Christina Forsgård (Netprofile), Tina McCorkindale, Ph.D., APR (IPR), and Justin Green (Global Alliance) highlighted that crisis preparedness is no longer about response plans but about fostering the right culture. The most resilient organisations are those where empathy, trust and clarity guide every decision long before a crisis hits. 🔹 Reprogramming PR – Chad Latz (Burson) and Tristan Roy (Edelman) discussed how AI is transforming PR workflows. True transformation starts with curiosity and leadership, not tools. Success will depend on creating safe spaces for experimentation and learning. 🔹 Human & Machine Gatekeepers – Brian Keenan (We. Communications) explored how influence is now shared between human relationships and machine algorithms. As AI increasingly determines what brand gets noticed, externally validated credibility and LLM-friendly content structure have become the building blocks of trust with this new stakeholder. Across sessions, one message echoed clearly: the future of communication won’t be led by technology alone, it will belong to those who use it to make human insight go further. 💡 International Communications Consultancy Organisation #ICCOGlobalSummit #PublicRelations #CommsStrategy #AIinPR #ReputationManagement
