Podcasts Following list in reverse order

We’ve received reports that the Home > Podcasts > Following feed is displaying podcasts from oldest to newest instead of newest to oldest. It happens mainly on Android devices.

Hey everyone,

We're glad to announce that this should now be fixed for everyone!

If you're still having issues, we recommend that you perform a clean reinstall on your device to make sure you're running the latest app version.

If you need assistance with anything else, you can post a new thread in the relevant Help board here.

Cheers!

Folks, this has been confirmed that it will be fixed in the next release of the Android App. Keep the app up to date.

I listen to podcasts that do not rely on sequential ordering.  The best I can do in this scenario is navigate to the most recently unplayed episode and play it, and when it is done it will continue on to the next already-listened-to episode.  This is a user frustration because I waste a minute or two listening to the intro to an episode I've already heard and it requires manual intervention to stop that episode, navigate to the next episode that I actually want to listen to, and start it.  This is especially frustrating in podcasts with short episodes and podcasts with large episode archives.

Feature request:  allow me to toggle the order in which the podcast episodes are played on a per-podcast basis.

Feature request:  allow me to toggle to skip finished episodes on a per-podcast basis.

Really? Seems like a lie, this is a 5 minute fix for a single real programmer yet has been a problem for over a month with plenty of awareness of such. Not sure why spotify is looking to lose more business but they've been successful, I'm done, lost my business of 11 years. See ya spotify. Your IT is pathetic.
