Live entertainment is returning Friday night to downtown Las Vegas for the first time in more than a year.

The music event, headlined by deadmau5, requires you to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.

To get through the gates at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center (DLVEC), you must have proof that you’ve received at least one COVID-19 shot.

Attendees can either bring the card or show a picture on your phone.

For those who haven’t gotten the shot, you must show the results of a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours prior.

Those who are fully vaccinated can shed their masks. Everyone else must wear one.

Mike Lambrecht with DLVEC said demand is high with people ready for live music again.

“I’m going to say around 9,000 people. Maybe even more. A little bit more than that. Ticket sales are going great, so we’re definitely on pace for quite possibly a sell-out tonight, which is what we’re definitely hoping for,” Lambrecht said.

The gates open at 7 p.m. with the event set to kick off at 8.

Visit the DLVEC website for tickets and other information.
