These are some of the most exciting times to be in AI. And some leaders are not just watching the shift. They are building it. Excited to share, I sat down with Jeetu Patel, President and Chief Product Officer at Cisco, for a conversation I have been wanting to do for a long time. Cisco is right in the middle of AI, networking, security, and data, and this interview felt like a front row seat to how the next decade is being shaped. In this episode of The Ravit Show, we spoke about: - The key AI trends Jeetu is seeing right now and how he explains Cisco’s AI vision - What being at the intersection of networking, security, and data allows Cisco to do with AI that most pure AI companies cannot - How AI adoption in Asia Pacific, Japan, Greater China, and India looks different from North America and Europe - Why India is so important to Cisco, both as a market and as a serious talent hub - The early career moments that still shape how he leads today - The one piece of career advice he wishes someone had given him at 25, for everyone starting out in India and across APJC For me, this was part AI roadmap, part masterclass in leadership at global scale. You can feel how seriously he takes this moment and the responsibility that comes with it. If you care about AI, infrastructure, or building your career in this space, this is one you will want to watch. #data #ai #cisco #CiscoLiveAPJC #Sponsored #CiscoPartner #TheRavitShow

Distributed quantum computing is closer than you think! IBM and Cisco are joining forces to connect large-scale, fault-tolerant quantum computers — paving the way for a quantum computing internet. By combining IBM’s leadership in building useful quantum computers with Cisco’s quantum networking innovations, the companies will work to solve fundamental challenges towards a quantum computing internet. This could power new possibilities across industries through quantum computing, sensing, and communication enabling us to solve problems in a completely new computational space. See what else this entangled pair of quantum innovators is planning to achieve in our latest Outshift Blog: https://cs.co/60467izH8 Check out the press release in the comments. #QuantumComputing #Collaboration #Innovation #Cisco #IBM #Quantum

Learn how the Cisco Foundation is empowering communities through tech-driven impact around the world in our FY25 Cisco Foundation Impact Report. ⬇️

Nearly 30 years ago, the Cisco Foundation set out with a simple belief: that technology can unlock opportunity and help communities thrive.   Looking back on the past fiscal year, what stands out most to me isn’t just the numbers, it’s the creativity, resilience, and dedication of our partners.   Trek Medics International expanded its mobile-first platform, Beacon, facilitating over 42,000 emergency responses worldwide.   FINCA International Ventures accelerated tech-led social enterprises across Ghana, Zambia, and Kenya, helping them scale and deepen impact.   Raspberry Pi Foundation reached classrooms in rural India and refugee camps in Africa, inspiring the next generation of technology creators.   Digital Green’s AI-powered FarmerChat has supported over 460,000 farmers since 2021.   Hohonu’s easy to install flood detection system provides real-time data to support better decision making and action across 18 U.S. states.   These stories show what’s possible when technology meets human ingenuity. Our partners are using AI and other digital solutions to increase efficiency, scale solutions, and forge lasting collaborations. By deepening our technical advisory services, providing flexible support, and fostering connections, we aim to strengthen their long-term impact.   I hope you’ll take a moment to explore our FY25 Cisco Foundation Report and see how together, we are building a world where communities thrive in the digital age. https://lnkd.in/gbWevRhc Francine Katsoudas, Brian Tippens, John Rivers, Jr., Alba San Martin Piaggio, Jacqueline Wong, Agostino Santoni, Saidah Grayson Dill, Mary de Wysocki, Guy Diedrich, Rob Johnson, John Morgridge, Macy Andrews

Every customer interaction with an AI agent is a moment of truth, a reflection of our values and our commitment to doing right by the customer. In Cisco Customer Experience, AI agents interact with real customers regularly. They inform our responses to high-stakes questions. These agents aren’t just tools, they are extensions of our brand. Trust in AI isn’t something we can assume. It’s something we must design.    We are engineering trust into every layer of AI strategy and it starts with the one thing no intelligent agent can function without: clean, connected data.      🔹 We integrate hundreds of diverse datasets, including third-party data, to ensure full context.       🔹 We transform complex inputs (like CRM records and support tickets) into simplified formats so LLMs can reason more accurately.       🔹 We enrich unstructured data with context, structure, and metadata.       🔹 We unify all of it through a semantic data model that maps Cisco’s products and services, improving how agents “think” across the enterprise. When AI agents are trained on clean, connected, and contextual data, trust becomes more than an aspirational principle; it becomes a set product feature.  Curious about what comes next? I’ve shared a more complete piece on building trust in agentic as an article. ⬇️
