Insomniac unveils its first-ever music festival in downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Insomniac, the company that stages the Electric Daisy Carnival, is bringing a new two-day music festival to downtown Las Vegas later this year.
Called "Lost in Dreams," the new gathering will be staged on Sept. 4 and 5 at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center.
Three stages will the genres of "future bass, melodic dubstep and vocal-driven dance music," according to a press release.

Insomniac previously partnered with the Downtown Events Center last month for a concert series that featured deadmau5.
This year's edition of EDC was postponed to October after Insomniac could not get clearance from state officials for holding the music festival in May.
While downtown Las Vegas is new ground for Insomniac, the area is no stranger to music festivals. Downtown is home to Life is Beautiful, and this year's festivalwill be held from Sept. 17-19.
