Las Vegas police investigate fatal hit-and-run near Decatur and Flamingo (RTC)

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision on Sunday morning, around 5:36 a.m. on Flamingo Road and Decatur Boulevard.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reported that the pedestrian was crossing outside a marked crosswalk when a 2000 Ford F-150 struck him.

The driver did not stop and continued westbound.

Medical personnel pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.

The driver and vehicle were later found, and the driver, Jacob Huber, 24, was arrested on hit-and-run charges.

The incident is under investigation.
